This is a notice of intent that WR-ALC/LS anticipates issuing a modification to an existing contract for the purchase of supplies and services necessary to perform requirements studies (bridge effort) and generate revised proposal (rebaseline) for the F-16 integration portion of the AN/ALR-69A Upgrade (PLAID) program. Requirements include those tasks needed to incorporate increased software scope due to aircraft avionics interface. The original F-16 integration requirement assumed C-130 software interface with minimal software development. This rebaseline effort corrects the deficiencies and provides for growth in the avionics interface.The ALR-69A Upgrade is currently under design and development by Raytheon, Goleta CA.The proposed contract action is for supplies and/or services for which the Government intends to restrict competition to the qualified source only, Raytheon Company, Goleta CA. Authority: 10 U.S.C 2304(C)(1). Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice if intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a future competitive procurement.
