This is a notice of intent that WR-ALC anticipates issuing an order for the purchase of Amplifier, Radio Frequency, NSN: 5996-01-212-4102EW; Part Number:037-003059-001 applicable to the ALQ-161 System. The contract will contain 1 production option and 3 outyear options. Production Option for quantities 1 - 30 to be exercised within 365 days after first article approval. Option (1) will be for quantities ranging from 1 - 30 to be exercised within 1 year after production Option is exercised. Option (2) will be for quantities ranging from 1 - 30 to be exercised 1 year after Option (1) is exercised. Option (3) will be for quantities ranging from 1 - 30 to be exercised 1 year after Option (2) is exercised. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with two sources, Signal Technology Corp., Cage: 33025 and Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Cage 26916 in accordance with FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received within forty-five days (thirty day if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
