Notice to negotiate with Tactical Support Equipment Inc., 6504 Baghdad Road Fayetteville, NC 28306 to extend the ordering period and the contract ceiling of USSOCOM’s Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract USZA22-03-D-0004, awarded on 10 Dec 2002, for USSOCOM’s Special Operations Tactical Video Systems/Reconnaissance and Surveillance Target Acquisition (SOTVS/RSTA) Systems and Training under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1)) (Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency's Needs). The Tactical Support Equipment Inc, is the original manufacturer and the only source with the technical ability to produce, maintain (provide spares and logistics support, etc.), for the SOTVS/RSTA. The extension will add a two-year ordering period and will increase the contract ceiling by $10 million from $20 million to $30 million to allow for the achievement of the approved basis-of-issue plan (BOIP). This notice is not a request for proposal and may constitute the only official notice of this action. See numbered note 22.
