The United States Geological Survey (USGS), Pacific Coastal and Marine, has a requirement for 60 each Time-Depth Recorder (TDR) tags, <2.8 g (w/battery) (data storage tags), and Memory for 4000 fixes. For use on Seabirds, with the following minimum specifications: 1. 1 MB memory 2. Weight less than 2.8 grams 3. Has user-defined, depth-activated fast sampling rate <1Hz technology for capturing depth data 4. Depth data collection triggered by water switch sensor 5. Programmable settings, sampling rate, and sleep-setting for optimal battery and memory storage 6. Reader and host software for communication with the TDR tags This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is G13PS00541 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in affect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-68, Effective 26 Jun 2013.
