NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following items: TC 4047 AC Coupled Hydrophones, 12 each. Required delivery is 2 each 8 weeks after award and 10 each 12 weeks after award. F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. It is expected to place a purchase order with Acoustic Transducers, Inc., dba RESON, Inc. 100 Lopez Road, Goleta, CA 93117. They are the only known source for these items because they were developed by RESON for use in monitoring the propulsor system on Virginia class submarines.
