The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City intends to solicit Cloud Cap Technology, 2621 Wasco Street, PO Box 1500, Hood River, OR 97031 on a sole source basis for one (1) each TASE Duo Stabilized Pan/Tilt/Zoom Camera Gimbal with EO and OR Imagers. This gimbal system will be utilized on the MUSCL craft, and has been selected based on both its extremely compact design (weight of approximately 2.34 lb) and that it utilizes the same IR (FLIR Photon 320) and EO (SONY FCB-EX980S) sensors utilized by the CCT program. Use of identical sensors will decrease the required efforts to integrate this system into the Operator and Control Station. Therefore, it is in the Government's best interest to purchase this gimbal, since it provides for commonality between systems and reduced integration costs.
