The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Charleston, intends to issue a sole source contract to General Dynamic C4 Systems, 77 A Street, Needham, MA 02494, for KG- 175 TACLANE Encryptors. The TACLANE Encryptor is a single device that offers multiple interfaces including Classic (Ethernet/ATM) and E100 (Fast Ethernet). TACLANE Encryptor provides Type I IP authentication plus end to end protection of user information at all levels up to TOP SECRET and is certified by the National Security Agency (NSA). This requirement will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract in the estimated amount of $200,000.00. The NAICS Code is 334290 and the size standard is 750 employees. NO SOLICITATION WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Any firm that believes it can provide this product may give written notification to the individual identified below. Supporting evidence to include appropriate documentation, literature and references must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the high level of proficiency required to supply the above items. This documentation shall include: contract numbers, contract types, dollar value, scope of work and customer point of contact, including phone number, for similar items during the past five years that substantiates the ability to satisfy this requirement.
