The Contracts Department of Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego (FISCSD) intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements”, with Edgeone LLC dba EdgeTech, 1141 Holland Drive, Boca Raton, FL The Contractor shall provide replacement parts for EdgeTech Model 2400 Sonar System. FISCSD intends to award a firm fixed price type contract for one set of hardware subsystem components, including government-specification hydrostatic testing of the underwater full spectrum chirp processor and wide band side scan sonar array components. This action is being issued utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial items/services under FAR Part 12. This is not a request for quote or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Information r! eceived will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Request for copies of a solicitation will not be honored.
