The Navy intends to procure on a sole source basis, 23 (twenty-three) LZS-750-3 POWER SUPPLY, 52 (fifty-two) LZS-1000-3 POWER SUPPLY, 22 (twenty-two) LZS-250-3 POWER SUPPLY, 22 (twenty-two) HWS30A-24/A POWER SUPPLY, AND 11 (eleven) JWS50-28/A POWER SUPPLY from RS Electronics, 1150 Portion Rd, Suite #10, Holtsville, NY 11642, to support a follow-on project being supported by the Special Communications Requirements Division of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division loacted at St. Inigoes, MD. The follow-on requirement will replace previously fielded (V2) A, (V2) B, and (V2) C systems; providing power to essential equipment during field operations. The program currently has requirements for a 250W, 750W, and 1000W power supply. The 250W unit size limits are 9" x 3.37" and can weigh no more than 7 lbs. The 750W unit size limitations are 4.75" x 5.00" x 10.83" and can weigh no more that 12.5 lbs. The 1000W unit size limitations are 4.75" x 5.63" x 10.50" and must weigh less than 15 lbs. All units must also have autosensing/autoselecting input voltage range of 85-170 and 170-265 Vac at 47-440Hz; adjustable output of 24 Volts DC, plus or minus 5 Volts, operate in temperatures up to 40 degrees Celsius, and provide a minimum efficiency at max output power of 70 percent.
