The 177th Fighter Wing intends to sole source to Motorola Solutions, 7031 Columbia Gateway Drive 3rd Floor Columbia, MD 21046 to provide all labor parts, tools, materials and transportation necessary to provide Mobile Radio APX 7500 Consolette Radios. The devices will fully integrate with the existing radio and infrastructure system in place for secure communications. The encryption necessary for the radios is proprietary to Motorola.

This procurement is being made pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(2) and FAR 6.302-1, for other than full and open competition; only one responsible source. Awarding to another vendor will result in a substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition and unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements.

All qualified sources must respond not later than Noon, EST, Friday, 11 September 2015. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
