The subject notice is for a modification to contract N6660410C0481 with Oceanserver Technology to procure an additional Lightweight Autonomous Underwater Vehicle which is identicle to those being delivered under the existing contract except for an optional sonar component not being included in this buy. Since a contract already exists, no solicitation package will be created. The basis for this sole source modification is that the proposed additional unit will serve as a surrogate for the for the AUVs in the initial delivery during the Fleet evaluation phase and during proposed technology development for this AUV class. This replication must include control software and other vendor specific proprietary hardware, firmware and software components.
