Using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13, the Navstar GPS Joint Program Office intends to issue a sole source purchase order to upgrade 6 MAGR 2000 S Receiver test units to the current MAGR 2000-S configuration per Raytheon part number 6450702-100. Additionally, this sole source purchase order will upgrade GPS Receiver Applications Module Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing Module (GRAM SAASM) Raytheon part number 6439815-6 to latest production configuration. The contractor will perform an incoming acceptance test to identify any faults and needed repair actions and complete those repairs, if necessary, as well as, perform the final acceptance test, and install the correct nameplates per Raytheon part number 6450702-100. The intended source is Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems Company, El Segundo, CA. Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems Company is the sole manufacturer of the MAGR 2000-S and is the only known company capable of completing the requirements within the specified period of time.
