Using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13, the Navstar GPS Joint Program Office intends to issue a sole source purchase order to repair 7 MAGR 2000 Receiver units (P/N 6450711-100). The contractor will perform any needed repairs to these units. The intended source is Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems Company, El Segundo, CA. Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems Company is the sole manufacturer of the MAGR 2000 and is the only known company capable of completing the requirements within the specified period of time. The buying office is SMC/GPK, 2420 Vela Way Suite 1866, Los Angeles Air Force Base, El Segundo, CA 90245. Note 26 applies.
