SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston intends to award a sole source contract, inaccordance with FAR 6.302-1, to Harris Corporation RF Communications Division, 1680 University Avenue, Rochester, NY 14610 for MIL-STD-461E Testing on the High Frequency Shipboard Automatic Link Establishment Radio (HFSAR) System. The HFSAR system is a Harris-designed and manufactured proprietary radio system, in which Harris possesses the proprietary knowledge to test and troubleshoot the system, interpret test results, and determine system failures or develop alternate solutions. The Government anticipates award of a Firm Fixed Price contract. The NAICS Code is 334220 and the applicable size standard is 750 employees.
