This acquisition is open-market, unrestricted. 55 CONS intends to issue a firm fixed priced purchase order for the following items: 4 ea: KIV-19A Type I Trunk Encryption Device. It will provide security protection through Top Secret for digital and voice communications. This will include a one (1) year warranty. 2 ea: Model 5020-2. This is a dual unit housing with two power supplies for KIV-19A. KIV19A?s are a family of Communication Security (COMSEC) devices that provide protection (encryption) for digital and voice communication. Sypris Electronics is the sole manufacturer of this device. Titan L3 Communications is the only authorized reseller for this device. The KIV-19A Type 1 Trunk Encryption Device is a NSA Government specified COMSEC device. There is no other compatible device that exists. The KIV-19A current approved NSA device that supports trunk encryption and is interoperable with Defense Red Switch Network equipment required for this configuration.
