The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN ) Charleston intends to Issue a sole source contract to General Dynamic C4 Systems, 77 A Street, Needham, MA 02494, for KG-75 Fastlane and KG-175 Taclane Encryptors. The Encryptor provides high-speed, transparent, low latency security services for asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) Networks. The encryptors provides authentication plus end-to-end protection of user information at all levels up to SECRET/sensitive compartmented end protection of user information at levels up to TOP SECRET/sensitive compartmented information (SCI). Fastlane is a National Security Agency (NSA) certified Type 1 encryptor. General Dynamics C4 Systems hold the trademark for the TACLANE and is the only known equipment that has been certified by the National Security Agency (NSA). The TACLANE is a singe device that offers multiple interfaces including Classic (Ethernet/ATM), and E100 (Fast Ethernet). This requirement will result in a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity type contract in the estimated amount of $8,5000,000.00 for a base year with four one-year options. Only encryptor manufactured by General Dynamics C4 will satisfy the government needs. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334290 and the size standard is 750 employees.
