The Space and Naval Warfare Center, Atlantic in Charleston, SC intends toissue a sole source award to Rockwell Collins Satellite Communications,hereinafter Rockwell, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only OneResponsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy AgencyRequirements. Rockwell located at 2205 Northmont Parkway, Duluth, GA 30096is the sole manufacturer and maintainer of the IPT Suitcase. Rockwell doesnot make the information necessary to repair the IPT Suitcase available to theGovernment or other commercial entities. As such, a sole source award for therepair of one IPT Suitcase will be made to Rockwell with a period ofperformance of six weeks from date of award. The RFP will be provided directly to the sole source vendor upon expiration ofthis synopsis.Prospective contractors must be CCR registered and must complete the ORCAonline representation.The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for thisacquisition is 517410.
