DESCRIPTION: This is a pre-solicitation notice for synopsis of an intercom system and a training class on the installation and operation of the intercom system at Holloman AFB, NM. Required services are commercial; therefore, FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, shall apply to this acquisition. Services include training of at least two government technicians on the installation and operation of the intercom system. Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, supervision, transportation and any other incidentals as necessary to perform training services at Holloman AFB, NM. This acquisition will be solicited as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Award selection will be made based on the Best Value to the government. Period of performance will begin after delivery but before installation and will be scheduled by the customer. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334290. The small business size standard is 750 employees. Solicitation No. FA4801-06-T-0138 will be issued as an RFQ. The RFQ will be posted on or about 10 July 2006. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.eps.gov. No paper copies will be issued. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package.
