The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), Navy Advanced Automated Tactical Communications, PMW 179, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Harris Corporation, RF Communications Division, 1680 University Avenue, Rochester, NY 14610. This contract procures HF Broadband Communications Systems (AN/URC-131(V) HFRG) for CG-47 Class, DDG-51 Class, LPD-17 Class and JCCX Class surface ships along with engineering support and will be firm fixed price. The total number of systems to be procured under this contract is estimated to be seventeen (17) systems over a contract period of three years. The contract will have a base of four (4) systems with options to procure an additional thirteen (13) systems. The contractor will be required to demonstrate efforts to provide subcontracting opportunities for Small Business (SB), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUB Zone) and other SB concerns.
