This is a synopsis of commercial items issued in accordance with FAR 5.203. The solicitation attached to this synopsis constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a hardcopy solicitation will not be issued. The Government intends to procure the items shown on the attached solicitation FOB destination. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. The one source is Sony and/or their authorized dealers. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All proposals received by the time established for the receipt of proposals will be considered by the Government. If the offeror is proposing other manufacturers or part numbers than what is specified in the solicitation, the offeror shall identify the manufacturer and part number. The offeror shall also provide complete technical data. It is the offeror's responsibility to provide sufficient technical data to allow the Government to determine if the proposed substitution meets the Governments needs. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency.
