SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE
The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 6 Network Contracting Office (NCO) is conducting Market Research on behalf of the Greenville Health Care Center (GHCC), part of the Durham VA Health Care System, through this sources sought to help determine the availability of qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), and Small Businesses (SB) to provide an electronic fingerprinting device. This requirement shall be brand-name or equal to Touchprint Livescan (TPE-4100UXT-ED). The requested machine will be used by the on-site Human Resources staff in collecting fingerprints for on-boarding prospective employees, as well as current staff members, should there be such a need.
The following outlines requirement features that the medical center requires:
The fingerprint machines must meet the following specifications:
Must be capable of submitting fingerprint charts to the Office of Personnel Management.
Must be on the FBI Certified Products List https://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/fingerprints_biometrics/iafis/iafis_cert
Must use connection of existing dedicated phone line and/or network jack.
Must be portable.
Must have a carrying case.
Must be Windows compatible.
Information (fingerprint records) transmission will be via SMTP over TCP/I.
Must have a minimum warranty period of one year.
The contractor shall provide the following services:
Delivery and handling of all equipment to the Greenville HCC.
Installation of new fingerprint systems.
Connection to the Office of Personnel Management.
Training of fingerprint system with staff.
Ensure functionality of all existing equipment.
