This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedure for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items. A solicitation, MDA112-02-T-0042 is attached to this announcement. The Television-Audio Support Activity intends to procure the following item: CLIN 0001: One (1) each, Digital Time Machine, Prime Image Inc p/n DTM with Option. FOB Destination point Armed Forces Radio and Television Service, BC, March ARB, CA Required delivery is 15 days after contract award. The Government anticipates negotiating and entering into a contract on a sole source basis with Prime Image Inc authority of FAR 6.302-1 only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the agency. If the equipment proposed is the same as in this solicitation (i.e., same manufacturer and part number), the offeror need only make a statement to that effect. If offeror is proposing other manufacturers or part numbers, the offeror shall identify the manufacturer and part number with complete technical data (specification data sheets/brochures). It is the offeror?s responsibility to provide sufficient technical data to allow the Government to determine if the proposed substitution meets the Governments needs.
