The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a delivery order to the AN/ALQ-214 IDECM BOA with ITT Avionics, Clifton, New Jersey on a sole source basis for AN/ALQ-214 spares as follows: The Contractor shall fabricate, assemble, test, and deliver the component hardware for spare WRA units for the AN/ALQ-214 (V)2 system, including RFCM, racks, receivers, modulators, processors, and low band transmitters. This effort is being awarded on a sole source basis to ITT Avionics in accordance with FAR6.302-1 because ITT Avionics is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the AN/ALQ-214 and is the only firm that can provide these spares within the required time frames.
