The Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, requires a Breechplate, Countermeasures Chaff Flare which is a component of the AN/ALE-47(V) Countermeasures Dispensing System that increases aircraft survivability by determining and executing the most effective off-board countermeasure response, thereby reducing cockpit workload. The breechplate will be manufactured in accordance with NAVAIR drawing 3268AS600 and Acceptance Test Procedure 3268AS619. The contract will be a five year indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract with a minimum quantity of 300 units and a maximum of 2,300 units. Preliminary inspection will be at source with final inspection and acceptance at destination. A first article may be required. Items shall be shipped FOB destination to Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, Indiana. Required delivery for the production quantity of 300 will be 150 days after issuance of delivery order. This solicitation will be available on or about 31 January 2002 at this site.
