DESC Title: Contract for Service on 543 Units of the JTT
The JTT Program plans to enter into an agreement to service 543 units of fielded JTT systems. Solicitation for a service contract bid shall be issued about October 11, 2010. The U.S. Government (USG) will not have detailed hardware installation and testing procedures required to carry out this service contract. Only bidding contractors that are Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) certified can qualify and be considered to bid. Service will be conducted by field personnel who hold Secret level clearance. The successful bidding contractor will be responsible for all changes in service procedures due to changes in hardware supply issues. The contractor will provide capability to meet a turn-around time of 72 hours. It is preferred that the contractor show an ability to identify system failures associated with installation services.

The service required shall be associated with hardware installation and testing on the following parts, listed below for AN/USC-62A(V)1, 2, 4 and 11(C) , JTT-SR-A.

All interested parties who want to be considered for this request for service should submit a white paper no greater than 10 pages in length and include at a minimum the following information, to be provided in Microsoft Word, Text, Rich Text, or Adobe Acrobat file formats only):

1) Provide evidence of level for encryption security classification for electronic hardware installation and testing on fielded systems.

2) Provide evidence of past performance on similar projects with electronic hardware installation, testing and related systems service requirements.


3) The contractor must show knowledge of the JTT system and past history in similar electronic hardware and CCA installation and systems test service.
