QUESTION: Is the solicitation going to be using the same “Sold To” number as the previous Avaya EPN solicitation (i.e., HSFEMW-05-Q-0046) or is it a different organization? ANSWER: The Avaya PBX is a “new site” and a new “Sold To” number can be created as DHS/S&T PIADC. The only information that offerors need is that this PBX is a new system. QUESTION: The solicitation is asking for part numbers that are associated with a release of an Avaya Communication Manager that is no longer available for new purchases. The new release is an Avaya Communication Manager 3.0 but the solicitation is requesting a release 2.1. Should offerors use the latest software release for the quote? ANSWER: Yes, offerors should be quoting the CM 3.0 version since the 2.0 is no longer available. The date for receipt of responses is extended from 3:00 PM/EST 09/07/05 to 3:00 PM/EST 09/09/05.
