CERDEC Fort Monmouth is seeking interested sorces for a common processor upgrade for the CP-1895 and CP-1597 Digital Processors which are part of the AN/APR-39A/B Family of Radar Signal Detecting Sets (RSDSs). System Specifications are available, but no technical data pacakage including software source code and level III drawings is available at this time. The processor shall be at least a 300 Megahertz and its respective Operational Flight Program (OFP) written in a higher level software language. In addition to the processor upgrades, the Government is also interested in sources of AN/APR-39A(V)2 RSDS. A technical data package for the existing APR-39A(V)2 baseline system configuration does exist at this time; however the production quantities are som ewhat limited at this time. All RSDSs and processor upgrade kits shall support all mechanical and electrical interfaces the legacy AN/APR-39A/B RSDSs currently supported. These include but are not limited to the following:AN/AAR-47 Missile Warning Set, AN/ ALE-47 Countermeasures Dispenser, AH-64D & AH-1Z Mission COmputers, AN/AVR-2 Laser Detecting Set, AN/APR-44 Continuous Wave Radar Detection Set, AN/ALQ-213 Electronic Warfare Management System (EWMS), RS-422 & MIL-STD-1553 Databus communication and rapid r eporgramming terminal (RRT) interfaces and current IP-1150A Display with commensurate voice warning interfaces. Potential sources must be able to clearly demonstrate the RSDS and processor upgrades performance capability, and legacy system interface confor mance within a 12 month period of performance with minimal U.S. Government (USG) technical oversight and no ancillary Government furnished test equipment. Sources shall also clearly demonstrate they possess the Software/Hardware/Antenna Development & Produ ction facilities cleared up to the SECRET level including Radio Frequency (RF) Simulators/Test Equipment needed to meet the USG requirements which include First Article Test and Inspection.
