The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price contract to ITT for 330 ALQ-214 (V)2 Radio Frequency (RF) Jammer systems. This effort will consist of a base year [Full Rate Production (FRP) 3 (FY06)] and five option years [FRO 4 through 8 (FY07-FY11)] exercisable at the Government's unilateral disretion. The ALQ-214(V)2 Radio Frequency (RF) Jammer was developed as a major subsystem within the Integrated Defensive Electronic Countermeasures (IDECM) Radio Frequency Countermeasures (RFCM) Program. The AN/ALQ-214(V)2 is a self-protection RF Jammer for use in tactical combat Navy aircraft against RF guided surface-to-air and air-to-air threats. The AN/ALQ-214(V2) subsystems are required for installation into the Navyââ¬â¢s F/A-18E/F.The breakout of units per production lot/year is as follows: base year (FRP 3) = approximately 55 systems; first option year (FRP 4) = approximately 51 systems; second option year (FRP 5) = approximately 61 systems; third option year (FRP 6) = approximately 57 systems; fourth option year (FRP 7) = approximately 53 systems; and fifth option year (FRP 8) = approximately 53 systems.
