COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION

 

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation, which is expected to result in an award of a "Firm-Fixed Price" contract for a commercial item, 57th Wing Head Quarters Capet Nellis AFB, NV.  The Contractor shall install approximately 7,400 SqFt of dark blue and tan

pattern, with padding Commercial Grade carpet; transitions, thresholds, and padding as required.  The Contractor shall remove and install all furnature including unbolting and reinstalling conference room chairs.  The Contractor shall provide carpet, and cove base samples of different color, type, and pattern, and the selection is to be determined by the user during the contractor initial site visit or at an agreed upon date by both parties..  Further specifications of the items are listed within the specification attachments.  All proposed modular furniture must fit within the 99 CPTS area and be of similar design, function, and shape as the 99 CPTS Layout design (Attachment UTF-8'en-us'57 WG HQ Floor Map-recarpet and UTF-8'en-us'Conference Room Floor Plan-recarpet).  The combined synopsis/solicitation is prepared in accordance with the procedures in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.  This synopsis/solicitation is conducted as a commercial item procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procecures (FAR Part 13).  An award, if any, will be made to the responsible offeror who submits a proposal that (1) conforms to the requirements of the synopsis/solicitation; (2) that receives a rating of "Acceptable" on the Technical Capability evaluation factor; and (3) that submits the proposal with the lowest total evaluated price (TEP), provided that the TEP is not unbalanced and is determined to be fair and reasonable.  The Government reserves the right to award without discussions or to make no award at all depending upon (1) the quality of proposals received and (2) whether proposed prices are determined to be fair and reasonable.

 

The Contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to install carpet in 57 WG 4430 Grissom Dr, Nellis AFB, NV 89191, NV IAW the Statement of Work.  The contractor shall purchase the carpet materials by following the guidelines of the Air Force Installation Contracting Agency (AFICA) Carpet Ordering Guide Program. A listing of the approve dealers previously established under the Tier I contracts as follows: (FA8057-17-C-0002, FA8057-1-C-0003, FA8057-17-C- 0004, and FA8057-17-C-0005). Site visit will be at 57 WG 4430 Grissom Dr, Nellis AFB, NV 89191 on 10:00 AM, Pacific Daylight Time on 26 June 2019 contact Cha-on Gordon by email at [email protected]
        a)  I will be at Nellis AFB main gate (on Craig Road) in front of the visitor center at 0915 26 June 2019.  You will need your Driver License, proof of insurance and car registration.  I will sign you into the base and escort you to 57th Wing.   Please bring some carpet color examples that was outlined in the solicitation.

Before price is considered, the quotation must meet the technical requirements.
