NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE-SOURCE

This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 13.501(a) - Sole source (including brand name) acquisitions. 

The 31st Contracting Squadron, Aviano Air Base, Italy, intends to award a sole-source contract for Temporary Facilities Lease and Maintenance already in government use. The 31st Contracting Squadron intends to make an award to SKE srl. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit from only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a). This notice of intent to award is not a request for competitive quotes; however responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
