The Sound Controlling Blankets are used in the chemical and biological protective shelter system (CBPS). The blankets are manufactured from material of fiber glass wool with a cured bider cas material to be layered with vinyl noise barrier septum. Front side to be silver color facing fabric and a polyester scrim cloth on the back. Has grommets and fastener loop tape attached. Size varies by part number. For instance, P/N: 17-2-0884-2s outside dimensions are approximately 47.00 X 78.00 inches. Solicitation will be issued as a 100% small business set-aside for a firm fixed priced five year indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract (IDIQ). The guaranteed minimal quantity will be a combination of part numbers totally 98 each. The maximum value for the contract will be a combination of part numbers totally 1,000 each. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is November 3, 2008. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided.
