Pre-Solicitation Notice

The purpose of this pre-solicitation notice is to notify that the U.S. Geological Survey, National Wildlife Health Center, in Madison, WI plans to solicit offers for construction services for the removal and replacement of all roofs associated with the USGS National Wildlife Health Center, Milton Friend Building. This requirement will be under Solicitation No. 140G0221R0013. The magnitude of the construction requirement is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.

The applicable North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS Code) is 238160 ¿ Roofing Contractors Construction with a size standard of $16.5 million.

This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. The Government intends to award a single contract. The contract type is a firm-fixed price contract and will be awarded based on best value will be made to the offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation requirements and provides the Best Value to the Government in accordance with the Trade-off Process.

The completion date will be 365 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed.

Solicitation No. 140G0221R0013 will be issued on or about the week of July 26, 2021. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package and will be on or around August 30, 2021. The solicitation notice and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading at https://sam.gov/ and at no charge. No paper copies will be issued. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the aforementioned site regularly for any updates/amendments to this requirement. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and must complete online Representations and Certifications and be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://sam.gov/.
