Sources Sought Notification Fabrication and Delivery of Reinforcing Steel and Associated Rebar Components For Mixed Oxide Fuel Fabrication Facility (MFFF) This is only an expression of interest. There is no RFP available at this time nor a guarantee that one will be forthcoming. Duke COGEMA Stone & Webster, LLC (DCS) is seeking suppliers/subcontractors with experience with supplying NQA-1 fabricated rebar for CP 20-2B release 1. The rebar be acquired will support the construction of a Mixed Oxide Fuel Fabrication Facility (MFFF) to be built at the Department of Energy (DOE) Savannah River Site (SRS). The rebar will be purchased under a supply procurement agreement. Interested parties must possess ALL the following attributes to be considered to receive any further information regarding this solicitation. 1. A working NQA-1 or 10CFR50 Appendix B Quality Assurance Program. 2. A minimum of three-years of experience in the detailing and fabrication of NAQ-1 rebar. Parties not meeting the above requirements may be eliminated from further consideration, without notice, for this solicitation. DCS encourages companies to develop Teaming arrangements, to include small business, in order to meet the above minimum qualification requirements. Interested parties are to submit Pre-Qualification Packages for the Company or Team as a whole. Companies that team shall have a Prime Supplier/Subcontractor designated. The Prime Supplier/Subcontractor will be the direct interface between the Team and DCS. Team Pre-Qualification packages shall be written to cover the Prime Supplier/Subcontractor and key teaming Companies and shall be submitted by the Prime Subcontractor. Pre-Qualification packages can be obtained by emailing a request to Janice Olive at [email protected]. Companies or Teams that have a current DCS approved Pre-Qualification package on-file need not submit another package, unless the submitted package requires updating. A Letter of Interest to submit a proposal from the Company or the Team Prime Supplier/Subcontract shall be emailed to Janice Olive at [email protected]. The Letter of Interest shall state that the Supplier/Subcontractor has a Pre-Qualification package on-file with DCS or that the Pre-Qualification package will be forwarded. Letters of Interest are due by 4 PM EDST on 30 March, 2006, with Pre-Qualification packages submitted by 4 PM EDST on 15 April 2006. This is a Source Sought Notification – for planning purposes and to evaluate current market conditions. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), nor shall it be construed as an announcement for the issuance of future RFPs.
