17. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is soliciting for the purchase of Acorn Heavy Duty Wire Partitions # 135 for its facility in Fort Worth, Texas. The system shall include: 5â0â wide x 8â0â high standard Acorn heavy Duty No.135 panels â quantity 55 each; 2â6â wide x 8â0â high filler panelsâquantity 4 each; 10â0â wide x 8â0â high Sliding Door, completeâquantity 1 each; 8â0â wide x 8â0â high Hinged Door complete with structural tube support at hinged sideâquantity 1each; 8â0â high corner anglesâquantity 5 each; All necessary hardware and cylinder locks, less cylinders, for doors; Color: Safety blue electrostatic finish. The simple acquisition procedures set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. The solicitation will be issued electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities web site at FedBizOpps.gov. Delivery terms are FOB Destination to the Fort Worth, Texas facility. The resulting purchase order shall be Firm Fixed Price. The award shall be made for best value. Quoters shall provide technical literature to help the Government determine conformance. All interested parties are required to submit a written quotation for Agency consideration. Quotation shall include the RFQ # BEP-05-0049, proposed unit prices, proposed extended prices, any prompt payment discount terms, company name with point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, DUNS number, and size status(i.e. small business, disadvantaged business, woman owned business). Quotations are due on July 13, 2005 by 3:00PM Eastern Standard Time. Firms may fax their quotations to 202-874-2200 or e-mail their responses to
[email protected]. Quotations can be mailed to the BEP Office of Procurement, Attn: Donald Baron, 14âTh and C Sts SW, Washington, DC 20228-0001. Telephone requests will not be honored. All responsible sources may submit an offer upon receipt of the solicitation, which shall be considered by the agency.
