The Veterans Administration Police Department in Amarillo, TX has a requirement for a two-lane mobile (moveable) shooting range with a maximum 25-yard target distance in which to safely conduct live-fire firearms training and required periodic qualification/requalification, using handguns, rifles, and shotguns. Due to close proximity of other activities and personnel on the VA complex, the range must have a zero-surface danger zone (Zero SDZ) and be capable of containing all fired projectiles. The contractor shall provide a turnkey project, including the complete mobile range, required supporting concrete pad(s) including all necessary excavation and site restoration, and line voltage electric shore power extended from the nearest available electric service, etc. Provide all labor, materials, supplies, tools and equipment, supervision and services necessary for the install and setup of the Mobile Range.
