Solicitation will be issued on or about July 21, 2006. Solicitation is for a firm fixed price requirements contract. This project is to construct temporary spillway weirs (TSW) for McNary Dam. TSW(s) are fabricated structural steel components that will be installed within the dam spillway bulkhead and gate slots. McNary Dam has 22 spillway bays, and the TSWs are intended to fit interchangeably into the spillway main and emergency gate slots. The TSWs are comprised of three individual steel asse mblies inserted vertically into the existing spillway gate slots, forming a shaped weir for water to flow over the top, passing to the tailrace below the dam.
