McDowell Rd, Phoenix, AZ, 85006 Description: The USDA Forest Service, Tonto National Forest, Tonto Basin Ranger District, intends to issue a sole source contract with General Modular to rent two modulars used as bunkhouse facilities under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) single source. The two modulars were initially furnished and installed in 2001 (under full and open competition). There is a continued need for these two modulars. If modulars from other sources were considered, there would be substantial cost to the Government that could not be recovered through competition. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Simplified acquisition procedures will be used as well as commercial item procedures.
