Modification to contract SP0500-98-D-BP01, Industrial Prime Vendor (IPV) support of benchstock hardware at the Naval Aviation Depot North Island, San Diego, CA. The Government intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, with the incumbent Raytheon E-Systems, 7700 Arlington Blvd., Falls Church, VA 22046-2900, for a modification to extend the period of performance to 30 September 2004. This extension is necessary to allow continuation of these essential supplies until award of a follow-on contract (IPV GEN-II). (NOTE: "A" at end of contract number is for internal reference only).
