Sources Sought Notice - The dosimeters shall have consecutive serial numbers. Each dosimeter shall display the dosimeter serial number on its front label in numeric and bar code formats using either CODABAR or CODE 39 bar coding. The front label shall have a white background with black print (no metallic background). The back label shall display the dosimeter model. Mandatory Dosimeter Characteristics: All dosimeter dimensions must meet specifications for Panasonic Thermoluminescent dosimeters (TLD) so that the dosimeters can be processed using the Panasonic TLD readers that BN presently possesses.TLD type and serial number information must be coded using machine-readable hole patterns for hexadecimal numbers so that they can be read by the Panasonic TLD readers that BN presently possesses. Lead filters of the correct thickness must be placed in front of and behind of element 4. The phosphors of the TLD must be made of:UD-812 Element 1: 7Li211B4O7:Cu. Element 2:7Li211B4O7:Cu. Element 3: CaSO4. Element 4:CaSO4. Current dosimeters in use are Panasonic UD-809 and UD-812 series.
