The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate solely with Stilo Corporation, located at 1900 City Park Drive, Suite 504, Ottawa, Ontario K1J1A3, to obtain the following proprietary software: OmniMark Studio Development License, OmniMark Server Engine Runtime License, and OminMark Software Development Kit (SDK). SSA is currently using the OmniMark version 5.3 as the scripting language to handle transformation of data. Stilo Corporation is the only known source, which can provide the required software. Under the authority provided in Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.106-1(b), the Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. This is not a request for quotation or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Requests for copies of a solicitation will not be honored or acknowledged. The Government does not intend to pay for information received. All interested parties must respond before the closing date of this notice. Written responses must provide clear and concise documentation indicating your firm’s capability to provide the proprietary software. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to SSA-OmniMark-CS. If after July 30, 2005, no viable responses have been received to this announcement, SSA shall negotiate solely with Stilo Corporation.
