THIS NOTICE IS FOR SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR INVITATION FOR BID. SOLICITATION SPECIFICATIONS AND DRAWINGS ARE NOT AVAILABLE. The tracking number for this announcement is W912C6-T-09-MAINTENANCE SYSTEM. The NAICS code for this proposed acquisition is 334515. This is a firm fixed priced requirement. The government will use responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis to make appropriate acquisition decisions regarding the type of procurement to be utilized to obtain a One Tool Electronic Maintenance System. ONeTOOL Electronic Maintenance System to include;1: Laptop Computer with DVD/CD-RW combo drive and 1 GB of memory and carrying case, 2) Stress Relief module w/18-36v DC-DC Converter including NATO Power Cable, NI4050 to RPMCIA 5 1/2 DVM/VIP Sidekick 3) 5 Special cables needed to connect to US Army Vehicle ECUs (Adapter J1939 9-Pin, Adapter J1708 The system will support the following vehicles: HMMWV, Stryker, Palletized Loading System (PLS), HEMTT, HET, FMTV, MTVR, HIPPO, Light Equipment Transportor (M915, M916, M917), Armored Personnel Carrier (M113A3), and Hercules (M88) and provide on Line support for the OneTool Systems 24 hr a day/7 days a week.
Software updates available though the life of the product Five days of One Tool Electronic Maintenance System training classes with two (2) Instructors at one (1) site identified. The Army Reserve Contracting Center (ARCC) South solicits a capability statement from all qualified businesses only. Interested companies should include: 1) Firm name, address, telephone and fax numbers, e-mail address. 2) Identification of the company, a Past history showing or reference list and delivery of a working system with in the past two (2) years. IMPORTANT: Responses must be limited to no more than 10 pages. Submission of Capabilities Statement is not a prerequisite to any potential future offerings, but participation will assist ARCC-South in tailoring requirements to be consistent with industry capabilities. This synopsis is for information and for planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pays for information solicited. Respondents WILL NOT BE notified of the results of the evaluations. Statements that do not meet all requirements or not submitted within the allotted time will not be considered.
