Notice of Intent: The Government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the lessor PS Business Parks, Inc. located at 7529 Standish Place Suite 115, Rockville, MD 20855 to provide AC for 6 zones in several rooms for a GSA leasing building. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals/bids are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238220 and the Business Size Standard is 13.0 Million employees. The contractor shall provide A/C for CVM Staff on weekends. The FDA office building is located at 7519 and 7529 Standish Place, Rockville, MD 20855. This A/C request for additional services for leased buildings is in accordance with Special Aspects of Contracting for Lease Alterations, Leasing GSA contract no GSA-11B-01722. The Lessor has the first right of refusal of any alteration of leased buildings. These justification and approval requirements are in accordance with FAR subparts 6.3 and GDAR 506.3, The Government may negotiate directly with the Lessor for any minor alteration project. Acceptance shall be performed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) at the address listed above. The work shall be performed in accordance with the Davis and Bacon Wage Determination, General Decision Number MD20030056.
