Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order, with option years, for the maintenance on a GenRad test set model 1796, serial number 0246 to Teradyne Inc., 600 Riverpark Dr., North Reading, MA 01864. The GenRad test set needs to be maintained in order for it to keep supporting the SACCS mission. The 55th Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement was made because Teradyne Inc. built the test set, and is the only source of the test set?s spare parts. The procurement of this maintenance for these test sets in a timely manner is essential to meet mission requirements. Questions should be directed to Tiffany L.
