The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is requesting quotations from contractors to provide two (2) Spence reducing valve, type ED cast steel, 300lb, flange 6", with Stellite seat and disc 10-100 PSI without pilots. No substitutes will be accepted. This is a simplified acquisition procedures will be used as set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; therefore, a written request for quotation will not be issued. This procurement is 100% set aside for small businesses. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-08-0118. Delivery terms are F.O.B Destination to the Bureau of Engraving & Printing ? D St between 13th & 14th St SW. All interested small businesses are requested to submit a written quotation which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be submitted on a SF 1449 or on company letterhead. Quotation shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any applicable credit or trade in, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, and point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, Dun & Bradstreet Number, and size status (i.e. small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business).
