The proposed procurement is for NSN(s) 4720-01-248-8822, 4720-01-254-4912, HOSE ASSEMBLY: NONMETALLIC. 50 FT LG. 1-1/2 IN. DIA. FOR POTABLE WATER. COUPLINGS THREADED 1-1/2 IN. 11-1/2 THD NPSH. MIL SPEC TITLED " HOSE ASSEMBLIES, CHLOROSULFONATED POLYTHYLENE IMPREGNATED, DOUBLE SYNTHETIC JACKET, WITH COUPLINGS, FIRE FIGHTING AND OTHER WATER SERVICE." Anticipated contract type is an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC), for an estimated annual quantity of 1856 each. Items to be shipped to various locations within established minimum and maximum quantity limits on an as needed basis. This proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The tota; duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. While price may be significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery and past performance. Numbered note 8 is applicable.
