The attached Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the installation, system support, maintenance, and bandwidth of a 45MBs Microwave Line of Sight (MLoS) link between Bagram Air Field (BAF) and Kandahar Air Field (KAF). Satellite links will not be accepted. The period of performance is twelve (12) months with two (2) Option Periods of twelve (12) months each. The required services need to be fully operational within two (2) week of Contract Award.

This acquisition will utilize a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection procedure in accordance with FAR 15.101-2 to make an award.

This acquisition will be conducted using the procedure authorized by Section 886 of Public Law 110-181 - Limit competition to products and services from Afghanistan. The Contractor is required to employ a workforce of over 80% host nation citizens to be considered technically acceptable for the subject RFP.
