• Line Item (CLIN) 0001, Firm-Fixed price: 13,000 Lbs. of (AISI-SAE) 4340 type steel, meeting all the specifications in accordance with the statement of requirements document, inclusive of F.O.B Destination shipping. $__________________total firm-fixed price.

• CLIN0002, Firm-Fixed price: 6,400 Lbs. of (AISI) 9310 type steel, meeting all the specifications in accordance with the statement of requirements document, inclusive of F.O.B Destination shipping. $__________________total firm-fixed price.

TO:

• Line Item (CLIN) 0001, Per Pound Price: (AISI-SAE) 4340 type steel, meeting all the specifications in accordance with the statement of requirements document, inclusive of F.O.B Destination shipping, if & at what increment quantity discounts occur, and the vendors capacity to provide the steel. $__________________per pound price.

• CLIN0002, Per Pound Price: 6,400 Lbs. of (AISI) 9310 type steel, meeting all the specifications in accordance with the statement of requirements document, inclusive of F.O.B Destination shipping, , if & at what increment quantity discounts occur, and the vendors capacity to provide the steel. $__________________per pound price.

Price will be evaluated to determine the total price is consistent with the technical portion of the quotation and is a fair and reasonable overall price to the Government.

Price will be evaluated to determine the total price is consistent with the technical portion of the quotation and is a fair and reasonable overall price to the Government. Price evaluation will include the evaluation of any quantity discounts identified.

All other terms and conditions remain unchanged, as a result of this amendment.

4340 & 9310 Steels for Charpy Machine Verification Program

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6- Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a separate written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued under the authority of FAR Part 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

This solicitation is a Request for Quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-08, effective 10/28/2022.

The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 331110 – Iron and Steel Mills and Ferroalloy Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 1,500 employees. This acquisition will be solicitation as a Total Small Business Set-Aside.
