The subject requirement is for acquisition of 1 NSN for the various end items. This proposed procurement includes an item within the Federal Supply Class 4330. The requirement will result in an award of an Indefinite Quantity Contract for which delivery orders may be placed for one (1) year. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on or about 18 Nov 08 at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/. The scope of this contract includes the acquisitioning for a 1T non-published QPL item. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess sufficient, accurate or legible data to purchase part from other than the current source; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(a)(1). This solicitation will be issued as Unrestricted and other than full and open competition. The delivery for this acquisition will be on a FOB Destination basis. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period four times at the discretion of the Government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of price, delivery, past performance, socioeconomic, MBA program and JWOD support evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. All factors other than cost or price, when combined, are equal to price.
