The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City (NSWC PC) intends to issue a sole source contract to Cochran Consulting Incorporated, 1758 Firman Drive, Richardson, Texas 75081 for the acquisition of 103 Navy Dive Computers Generation III (NDC3). NAVSEA 00C has added the NDC to the Approved for Navy Use (ANU) list for diver equipment. The NDC is a multifunction dive computer that calculates diver decompression schedules and keeps track of dive depth, time, etc. It is critical life support equipment. It is the only dive computer on the ANU list. Cochran Consulting is the only manufacturer of the NDC3. Cochran maintains control of the internal code of the NDC and is the only company that is able to provide the Generation III Navy Dive Computers.
