QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED.The solicitation number W912CN-07-T-0218 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), and incorporates provisions and clauses that ar e in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45. The North Americ an Industry Classification System code is 336120, with a small business standard of 1000 employees. The acquisition is a firm-fixed requirements contract for three Quick Attack Fire Trucks. Delivery shall be made FOB destination (FAR 52.247-34) to locati on specified on Solicitation W912CN-07-T-0218. The Government is planning to make the contract award under a GSA Schedule contract. The required delivery date is 21 July 2007. Offerors who fail to follow the format and requirements listed may be found u nacceptable. Quotes will initially be evaluated for delivery acceptability. Only quotes with acceptable products will be considered. Award will be made to the responsible offeror on the basis of the lowest evaluated price with acceptable past performanc e and ability to meet the requirements and delivery schedule. The government may award a contract based on initial offers received, without discussion of such offers; therefore, initial offer should contain the offerors best terms from a cost or price and technical standpoint.
